Terra Ceia Christian School stands out from surrounding schools in it's consistent commitment to musical offerings for all students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Two musicals are performed each year by Kindergarten through 6th grade students, as well as a performance for Grandparent's Day. Students not only learn and memorize the songs they will sing but also learn their respective parts through Scripture memorization and roles they participate in throughout the musical. This combination of song and drama is a tremendous opportunity to help students develop these gifts and enjoy the work of coming together to make a performance!
Grades 7th-12th also have the opportunity to participate in choir as one of their electives. The TCCS choir performs two concerts a year - Christmas and Spring - as well as singing their songs out in the community during the year.
Violin and piano lessons are also offered to students during the school week through private teachers.
Our TCCS music opportunities are a fun and positive way to hide God's word in our hearts, show students the beautiful gift of music in God's world, and help them to begin to develop their unique musical abilities.
